Jodi, I thank you for setting up this website in support of Joy and for informing me of her diagnosis. I was, of course, very upset to hear this news. Joy has always been an inspiration to me and many others. She is full of life and when she walks into a room, people smile.
I worked with Joy for several years and on so many occasions, she was able to help me withstand some very rough times, both professionally and personally. I counted Joy as one of my close friends and still do.
I have feelings of both sadness and anger. No one deserves such a disease but it’s particularly awful when someone like Joy is stricken. She is so full of life and positivity that it makes me wonder what our existence on this planet is all about…..

Joy, I know I have never told you how much I enjoyed working with you at the Blackfoot Inn. You really are mentor in my mind. You always know how to brighten a day. I loved when you would walk into the office. I could hear you laugh and I knew the day started. We had many a great laugh together. Remember the night club in TO? I think it was the Cha Cha. I still think about that. WOW we had some fun there.

At the Foot, we solved all lifes problems over a glass or 10 of wine in the lounge. ALS will be the next problem to solve. I know my friend you are strong and I know in your own way you will figure out the next move.

You mentioned all of us inspire you, well I think it is the other way around. YOU inspire all of us.

All my love Joy.
